Mrs. Agnes Thompson Blakely Walkemeyer, age 94, formerly of Macon, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016, at Westbury Medical Care Home. She was born on Sunday, April 9, 1922 in Glasgow, Scotland to the late Alexander Blakely and the late Bridget MacKenna Blakely. Mrs. Walkemeyer was a proofreader for John Harland Co. She was a member of Musella Baptist Church. Mrs. Walkemeyer enjoyed baking and cooking and loved her grandchildren dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Harry Walkemeyer.

Mrs. Walkemeyer is survived by her daughter, Linda L. Maddox; son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Alice Walkemeyer; grandchildren, WilliamWhitfield Maddox, Blake and Josh Michaels, Phillip Walkemeyer, Jessica Walkemeyer; great-granddaughter, Stratton Michaels; several nieces and nephews.
