Arthur E. Stodghill, Jr., age 86, of Jackson, GA, passed away Friday, April 11, 2014 at Providence Health and Rehabilitation Center in Thomaston. He was born on September 5, 1927 in Locust Grove, GA to the late Arthur E. Stodghill, Sr. and the late Willie Potts Stodghill. Arthur, Jr. was a member of the United States Navy serving during World War II. He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine McMichael Stodghill.

Arthur, Jr. is survived by his daughter, Phillis Stodghill; 2 sons, Billy Stodghill and Ricky Stodghill; several grandchildren; and special friend, Herman Waits.

Funeral services for Arthur Stodghill, Jr. will be held at 2:00 P.M.
