Mr. Auris Pender Williams Age 58 of Barnesville passed on Monday January the 4th 2010 at a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. Mr. Williams was born in Pike County Georgia but made his home here in Lamar County for a number of years. He was a member of The First Assembly of God in Barnesville. Mr. Williams was born to the late Mr. James Tommie Williams and the Late Mrs. Mary Emma Huddleston Williams. He was also preceded in death by his brothers- Hoyt, Hanson, Franklin, Norman and Carvel. And also by his sister Evelyn Calvert.

Survivors include- Sisters – Sybil Denton of Barnesville- Carol (&Joe) Fuller of Barnesville. Brothers- Ralph Clifford Williams (&Linda) of Griffin- Merrill Williams of Thomaston- Cecil Williams (&Cookie) of Barnesville. Sister – in-law- Betty Williams Calvert of Griffin. And numerous nieces nephews and other relatives.

Services for Mr. Auris Pender Williams will be conducted on Thursday January 7, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 6, 2010 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Meansville Congregational Cemetery.
