Mrs. Barbara Dean Buice Burford, age 66, of Barnesville passed away on Tuesday February 2, 2010 in a Macon Healthcare facility. A lifelong resident of Lamar County, Mrs. Burford was born to the late Mr. Willis Robert Buice and the late Mrs. Sarah Rebecca Graham Buice. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Winona Rose Adkerson. And also preceded in death by her sister Martha Jean Walker. She was a member of The Barnesville Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include- Husband- William Larry Burford of Barnesville, GA ; 1 Daughter - Denise (& Terry) Bush of Forsyth, GA ; 1 Son- Dean (& Melanie) Burford of Jefferson, GA ; 1 Son-in-Law - Eddie Adkerson of Barnesville, GA ;Brothers and Sisters -Lenez (&Haskel) Taylor-Winton Buice- Paul (& Patricia) Buice- David (&Dana) Buice- Eddie (& Sandra) Buice- Elizabeth (&Ronold) Hall- Wayne (& Peggy) Buice- Carol (&Dickie) Dukes- Joe (& Barbara) Buice - 4 Grandchildren ; 1 Step-Grandson ; & 1 Great Grandchild. Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara Dean Buice Burford will be conducted on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11 O'Clock in the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Friday, February 5, 2010 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
