Mrs. Barbara Wilson Staples, age 85, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019. She was born on Wednesday, February 14, 1934, in Senoia. Barbara worked for several years for Carmichael Insurance Company in Jackson. She was a member of Towaliga Baptist Church. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roy Staples; mother, Katie Heath Rice; stepfather, George Rice; sister, Betty Jo Dunbar.

Barbara is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Cindy Staples, of Snellville, Keith and Sharon Staples, of Jackson, and Ted and Kim Staples, of Jackson, Todd and Sharon Staples, of Le Claire, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Wilson Staples will be held at

3:00 P.M., Monday, December 2, 2019, at Towaliga Baptist Church with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
