William Benjamin (Ben)Thompson, age 75, of Forsyth, GA, died Thursday, May 24, 2012. He was born October 12, 1936 in Jackson, GA to the late Paul and Louise Thompson Hardy. Ben enjoyed motorcycle riding, working, and loved spending time with his family. Ben is survived by his wife, Linda Bryant Thompson, of Forsyth; 2 daughters and son-in-law, Tonia Thompson and Keith Leslie, of Lizella, GA, Deidre and Mike Raumschuh, of IL; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Dawn Zellner, of Culloden, GA, Jamie and Chris Thompson, of Jacksonville, FL, Chuck and Tina Thompson, of Jacksonville, FL; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Angela Hardy; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Annie (Beige) Bryant, and brother, Randy Hardy. Memorial services for Ben Thompson will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating.
