Obituary

Mr. Benjamin Franklin Harris, age 94, of Barnesville passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at his residence. He was a lifelong native of Lamar County. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Louise Andrews Harris. He was Retired from The William Carter Company as a Machine Operator. Mr. Harris was a WWII Veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a proud member of the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene.


Survivors Include: His Daughter - Diane Harris Brinkley (& Roy) ; His Granddaughter - Kim Brinkley Yevak (& Bob) ; 2 Great Grandchildren - Ashley Penley & Brinkley Yevak ; 1 Nephew and Caregiver – Eddie McGee.


Funeral Services for Mr. Benjamin Franklin Harris will be conducted Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 2:00 pm in The Barnesville Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Lonnie Grant officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
