Mr. Bennett (Pete) Crews, 71, of Barnesville passed away Friday, May 9, 2014 at his home.

Mr. Crews was born August 9, 1942, son of the late Bennett Franklin and Nellie Mae Littleton Crews. He retired from J. and J. Metal Works. He was an avid Georgia Tech football fan as well as a fan of the Atlanta Braves and the Atlanta Falcons.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Susie Ennis Crews; son and daughter-in-law, William Callaway (Cal) and Jeannie Crews; daughter and son-in-law, Cristy and Glen Allen; son, David Blake Crews, Sr.; son, Thomas F. Crews, and family friend, Donnie Benton all of Barnesville; ten grandchildren, Chad Crews, Jarod Crews, Chase Crews, Quinton Crews, Taylor Allen, Sydney Allen, Kirstie Crews, Blake Crews, Jr., Jordan Crews, and Cole Crews; five great-grandchildren; and faithful pet, Scooby Doo.

The memorial service and visitation will at Breedlove Memorial Chapel Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
