Mrs. Bertha Robena Brooks Smith, age 92, of Barnesville passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in a Forsyth County Healthcare Facility. A native of Walton County, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Mr. Archibald Wynn Brooks and the late Mrs. Bertha Robena Atha Brooks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Harold C. Smith, Sr., by two sons, Harold C. Smith, Jr. and James Kenneth Smith, and by a grandson, Carter C. Smith. Mrs. Smith was Retired as a Hairdresser, and was a member of The First Baptist Church of Barnesville.

Survivors include: Her Daughter - Renee (& Johnny) Mansour of Canton ; 1 Sister - Mrs. Leila Parker ; 1 Daughter-in-law - Mrs. Sara Smith ; 6 Grandchildren ; 11 Great Grandchildren ; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bertha Brooks Smith will be conducted from the Graveside on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11 O'Clock in Greenwood Cemetery with the Reverend Garth Forster officiating.

The family has requested that those who wish make Memorial Contributions to The First Baptist Church of Barnesville, 200 Zebulon Street, Barnesville, GA 30204.
