Betty Jean Franklin, age 55, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2014 at her residence. She was born on June 14, 1958 to the late Fred M. Ledford and the late Alma Bryant Ledford. Betty loved to read, text, and old music. She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Ledford.

Betty is survived by her husband, Ervin Franklin; children, William Ledford and Sabrina, Doyle Daniels, III and Amy, Troy Dillon Daniels; grandchildren, Amber Ledford, Amanda Ledford, Damian Ledford, Gracen Daniels; one grandchild-on- the-way, Olivia Daniels; brothers, Buck Ledford and Teresa, Clifford Ledford and Brenda; sisters, Mary Starrett, Dorothy Yarbrough and Billy, JoAnn Woodruff; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date, at which time the family will be notified. It was Betty's wish to be cremated. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrell-westburyfh.com.
