Betty Jean Mills, of Flovilla, GA, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013 at her residence. She was born on July 24, 1931 in Atlanta, GA. She enjoyed going to church where she didn't miss a day for 7 years, watching TV, shopping, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her grandmother who raised her, Ida White, and her husband, Ralph Mills. Betty Jean is survived by 2 daughters and son-in-law, Janice and Rickey Sisk, of Flovilla, Robin Weir, of Flovilla; 2 sons, Don Mills, and Bobby (Tad) Mills, both of Jonesboro; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; 2 great-great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; and several nieces and nephews Funeral services for Betty Jean Mills will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Richard Culpepper officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday evening.
