Mrs. Betty S. Woodall, age 90, of Barnesville, GA passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Westbury Medical Care Home in Jackson.

Betty was born on Friday, November 16, 1928 to the late Judson Blakenship and the late Lucy Weatherford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl G. Simmons; daughter, Christine Woodall; grandson, Paul Simmons. Betty worked at the William Carter Company as a machine operator and attended Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading.

Betty is survived by her children, Mary Teresa & Johnny Phillips of Griffin, Earl Gibson Simmons of Texas, Dewayne & Frankie Simmons of Barnesville, and Tracy Threatt of Jackson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

A funeral service for Mrs. Betty Woodall will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. in Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ken English officiating. The family will receive friends at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. until the service hour.
