Mrs. Birdie Lou Bowen Wilson, age 75, of Jackson, GA, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Spalding Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 5, 1935 in Cleveland, AL to the late William and Katherine Akins Bowen. She loved her family and enjoyed quilting, gospel music and TV. Mrs. Wilson is survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Chuck Kibling, of Jackson, Wanda and Ricky Clark, of Woodstock, GA, Brenda and Tommy Roper, of McDonough; 1 son, Jimmy Andrews, of Locust Grove; sister, Edna Brownlee, of Flovilla; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandsons; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Noah Wilson. Funeral services for Mrs. Birdie Wilson will be held at 2 PM Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Gene Sellers officiating. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.
