Mr. Bobby Lee Gilbert, age 78, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 in Griffin. Bobby was born on Sunday, June 9, 1940 in Jackson to the late James W. Gilbert and the late Sylvia O'Neal Cook. He was formerly employed with American Mills. Bobby was a proud truck driver for the State of Georgia. He enjoyed splitting wood, loved his tractors and dog, Mercedes.

Bobby is survived by his nephew and niece, James Douglas Williams and Fran Williams; several great-nieces and great-nephews and great-great nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela Gilbert; two sisters; one brother.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Jackson City Cemetery on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. Those who wish may sign the online guest registry at www.sherrellwestburyfuneralhome.com
