Mr. Bobby "Blake" Newton, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and formerly of Barnesville, passed away on October 10, 2011 after a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, the late Mr. Henry Nelson Newton and the late Mrs. Marie Shockley Newton, by his sister, Inez Newton, his brothers Henry Newton, Jr. and David Wesley Newton, and by a nephew, David Wesley Newton, Jr.. He was a devoted Christian, who loved the Lord, and was a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Newton was a proud father of all 4 of his children, and each one loved him dearly.

Survivors include: 3 Daughters - Misty Mills and son-in-law Eric Glasgow of Knoxville, TN ; Holly Newton of White Pine, TN ; & Abigail Newton of Stephenville, TX ; His Son - Joshua Newton of Castle Rock, CO ; Grandson - Johnathan Mills of Knoxville, TN ; and Granddaughter - Arian and Mikala Redding of White Pine, TN ; His Sister - Peggy Nunn of Griffin, GA ; asa well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial Services for Mr. Bobby "Blake" Newton will be conducted Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 2 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Reverend Riley Fenley officiating. Interment will be Private. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 12 Noon until the service hour.
