Bonnie Kathryn Smith Pontee, age 93, formerly of Barnesville passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011 in an Americus Healthcare Facility. Born in Rebecca, Georgia, to the late Mr. John David Smith and the late Mrs. Missy Harvey Smith, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Mr. Clifton Melvin Gibson, and by her second husband, Mr. Joseph Lowell Pontee.

Mrs. Pontee is survived by: 2 Sons - Tony Gibson of Panorama City, CA ; & Craig (& Becky) Gibson of Apalachicola, FL ; 5 Grandchildren ; 7 Great Grandchildren ; & 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonnie Pontee will be conducted from the Graveside on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1 O'Clock in Greenwood Cemetery with the Reverend Franklin Gibson officiating.
