Mr. Bruce Allen Thomas, age 63, of Jackson, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022.

Bruce was born on Tuesday, June 10, 1958, in Fort Hood, Killeen, Texas to the late William Steven Thomas and the late Mary Nell Thomas. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Ann Thomas; brothers, Steve Thomas and Darrell Thomas. Bruce served in the United States Army as a mechanic and was a member of Rise Above Community Church. He enjoyed fishing, cookouts with family, and loved listening to classic country music.

Bruce is survived by his children, Patricia Combs, Tracy McDonagh, Tara Thomas, Robert Anthony, Lynn Cobb, Sara McCombe, Michael Anthony; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Margie Turner; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Mr. Bruce Thomas will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Danny Clark officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson City Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
