Charles Steven Bennett, age 57, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013 at his residence. Steve was born on May 7, 1956 in Lawton, OK to the late Charles Reuben Bennett and Janie Ruth Singley Bennett. He was employed at Indian Springs State Park. Steve was a member of Stark United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by two brothers, James Bennett and Kenneth Bennett, and a sister, Sherry Lynn Allen.

In addition to his mother, Janie Bennett, of Jackson, Steve is survived by his sister, Peggy Jo Ann Harris, of Jackson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services for Steve Bennett will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating.
