Mr. Claude Edward Reese, age 89, of Jackson, GA died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 in Jackson. He was born December 11, 1920 in Warren County, GA son of the late Eddie Lane and Dovie Mae Norris Reese. He enjoyed working at Piggly Wiggly for the past 20 plus years, yard work, and working on mowers and small engines. He loved his family, friends and co-workers. Mr. Edward Reese is survived by survived by 2 sons and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Debbie Reese, of Jackson, Kelvin (Skippy) Reese, of Jackson; 3 grandchildren, Wayne Reese, Mandi Anthony, Kelvin (Dude) Reese, Jr.; 5 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Faye Reese; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Gregg Reese, sister, Ouida Mae Stallings, and brother, Robert Reese. Services for Mr. Edward Reese will be held Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Sherrell officiating. Interment will follow in the Pepperton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
