Mrs. Carol Sue Jones Hoover, age 75, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024.

Carol was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas to the late AC Jones and the late Margie Lee Jones. Carol was a member of Rock Springs Church. She enjoyed traveling and taking walks on the beach and talking. Some of her hobbies were feeding birds and painting concrete statues, and she loved eating popcorn and ice cream. She especially loved her four cats and dog and just spending time together with her husband.

Carol is survived by her husband of 38 years, Ben Hoover; children and spouses, Alex and Corey Nall, Allisa and Brian Britt; 4 grandchildren; siblings, Maxey J. Sumlin, Ellen and Mike Carson.

A memorial service for Mrs. Carol Hoover will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at the Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Dr. Benny Tate officiating. Family and friends may visit the family prior to the service from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
