Mrs. Carole Woodie Watson, age 69, of Lamar County passed away unexpectedly on September 1, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Watson was a native of Atlanta, but had lived in Lamar County for a number of years. Daughter of the late Mr. Harold Woodie and Mrs. Mary Lee Morgan Woodie, she was also preceded in death by her husband, the late Mr. Thomas C. Watson, Jr.. Mrs. Watson was Retired from the Swisher Company.

Survivors include: Her Son - Jon Watson (& Terrell) ; 2 Daughters - Terri Edmonson (& Kenny), & Patricia Lynn Friday (& Pete) ; 3 Grandchildren - Adam & Jacob Friday, & Eric Edmonson ; Her Mother - Mrs. Mary Woodie ; Her Sister - Nancy Davis ; & Her Brother - David Woodie.
