Mrs. Carolyn Davis Adams, age 77, of McDonough, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in Jackson, at the home of her daughter. She was born on Friday, July 18, 1941, in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Joseph Headrick and the late Vertie Lee Sutherland. Carolyn attended Forest Park Church of God. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society and she loved reading. Preceded in death by first husband, Walter Davis.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Harold Lee Adams; daughters, Tricia and Mike Wallace, Nancy and Tim Mauldin; three granddaughters, Christy and Dan Bishop, Jennifer and Jeff Pope, and Janet Johnson; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Susan Headrick; and two nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Carolyn Davis Adams will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, July 12, 2019, at Heritage Baptist Church in Locust Grove with Pastor Terrell Hopkins officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service. Interment will follow in Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge.
