Mrs. Carolyn Marie Jones, age 88, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.

Carolyn was born on Thursday, December 24, 1936, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Lester Broughton Dial, and the late Daisy Vinnie McGiboney Dial. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Darlene Jones, sons, Keith Jones, Michael Jones.

Carolyn was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved collecting porcelain dolls. Going bowling and had a passion for oil painting. Listening to Elvis Presley music was always a favorite thing to do. Visting the mountains was always one of her favorite places to go.

She is survived by, daughter, Lynne Nichols; son, Grady Jones (Teresa); grandchildren, Shawn Nichols (Carrie), Brandon Nichols, Rachael Quick (David), Lyn Oglesby (Brad), Alan Codner, Evan Taylor, Payton Jones; great-grandchildren, Kaeden Nichols, Logan Nichols, Liam Nichols, Kensley Nichols, Xander Nichols, Kaedence Quick, Holden Quick, Elliana Oglesby. Several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

No formal services will be conducted.
