Mrs. Myra Catherine "Cathy" Wise Marsh, age 71, of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital. Cathy was born in, Jackson, Georgia on Sunday, April 29, 1945 to the late Wilmer Hiram "Cotton" Wise and the late Bessie Lou Cummings Wise. She was a piano player all of her life. Cathy loved her church. She was very supportive of the Georgia 4-H Clovers and Company. Cathy loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Franklin Marsh.

Cathy is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Alison and Randy Hutcheson, Tara and Reggie Collins; grandchildren, Morgan Hutcheson, Ansley Hutcheson, Logan and Chelsea Collins of Americus, GA, Rebekah Collins of Washington State, and Garrett Collins; great-granddaughter, Kynslee Collins; great-grandson, Keller Collins; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services for Mrs. Cathy Marsh will be conducted on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Towaliga Baptist Church with Reverend Jay Sanders and Reverend Steve Jett officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
