Mr. Clyde Hampton "Danny" Daniels, Jr., age 66, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at his residence. Danny was born on Saturday, May 21, 1949 in Conway, SC to the late Clyde Hampton Daniels, Sr. and the late Beatrice Louise Sellers Daniels. He proudly served in the United States Navy in Vietnam. Danny was a retired Seabee/Chief Warrant Officer. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cassie Daniels Irwin.

Danny is survived by his finacé, Pat McLeod; daughter, Kelli Lynn Meller; step-children, Michael and Alice McLeod, Angie McLeod, Megan McLeod, Rena and Steve Lunsford; grandchildren, Maddox, Jess, Ellisyn, Niki, Storm, Little Michael, Sydney, William, Mandy; sisters, Rebecca Allen and Kathryn Parker; brothers, Howard Stodghill, George McGahee; in-laws, Sue and James Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Danny Daniels will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2016 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy L. Mangham officiating. Interment will follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening.
