Mr. Charles "Bud" Bryant Leggett, age 86, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Bolingreen Health and Rehab.

Bud was born on Friday, August 27, 1937, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Willis Henry Leggett and the late Josephine Elizabeth Balkcom Leggett.

Bud was an avid fisherman and mechanic. He served in the United States Navy Air Reserves. Charles owned and operated Leggett Chevron station in Macon for over 25 years. He was of the Methodist Faith. Bud was loved by his whole family, who he greatly adored. He and Pat enjoyed taking their golf cart out for rides through Barnesville.

Bud is survived by his wife of 63 years, Patricia "Pat" Leggett, children and their spouses; Bryant Leggett (Debbie), David Leggett (Denise), West Leggett; grandchildren, Candice Wheeler, Matthew Leggett, Travis Leggett, David Leggett, Douglas Leggett, Chandler Leggett, Blake Leggett; as well as five great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Charles "Bud" Bryant Leggett will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. in Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Bob Honeycutt officiating.
