Mr. Charles Mills Jackson, Jr., age 79, of Barnesville passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010 in a Barnesville Healthcare Facility. Mr. Jackson was born in Spalding County, but had lived in Barnesville practically all of his life. He was the son of the late Mr. Charles Mills Jackson, Sr. and the late Mrs. Minnie Seagraves Jackson. Mr. Jackson, along with his brother, Harold, owned C & H Produce, and he was the former owner of the Red & White Grocery Store in Barnesville. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Barnesville, but had attended the Pine View Baptist Church.

Survivors include: His wife of 59 years - Louise Jackson of Barnesville ; 1 Son - Doug (& Kay) Jackson of Jackson ; 1 Brother - Harold (& Judy) Jackson of Barnesville ; 3 Grandchildren ; 2 Great Grandchildren ; Several Nieces & Nephews ; His Best Friend - Harold Blevins ; & Some Special Neighbors.

Funeral Services for Mr. Charles Jackson will be conducted Monday, November 1, 2010 at 5 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Monday evening (11-1-10) from 4pm until the service hour.
