Mr. Charlie Frank York, age 72, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

Charlie was born on Tuesday, February 5, 1946 in Thomaston, Georgia to the late Bill York and the late Edna Dover York. He was preceded in death by a son, Kerry Dan York; brother, Donald York. Charlie was a proud Veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. Charlie played basketball for Milner High School, he enjoyed hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. Charlie was a member of Aldora United Methodist Church.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Fran York; sons and daughters-in-law, Heath and Tammy York, Chris and Christy York; eight grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Bobby and Maureen York, Billy York; sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Raymond Odom; father-in-law, Bill Brannon; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Skipper and Sally Brannon; several nieces and nephews.
