Mrs. Charlotte Ann Whitten Stamey, age 73, of Barnesville passed away Friday, April 10, 2009 at her residence. A native of Fulton County, Mrs. Stamey had lived in Barnesville for a number of years. Daughter of the late Mr. Henry Whyche Whitten and the late Mrs. Mary Ray Whitten, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mrs. Marion Whitten Fleming. Mrs. Whitten was Retired as a Fulton County Court Clerk.

Survivors include: Her Son - Mark Stamey of Barnesville ; Her Daughter - Susan McPherson (& her husband, Stan) of Canton ; 3 Sisters - Doris Clark of Forsyth ; Mary Louise Gann of Locust Grove ; & Catherine Artau of Forsyth ; 2 Grandchildren ; & 4 Great Grandchildren.
