Mrs. Cheryl Smith Ruffin, age 64, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 in Tallahassee, Florida after an extended illness.

Cheryl, a native of Barnesville, was born on Friday, June 12, 1953 to the late Daniel C. Smith and the late Emily Hammond Smith. She was also preceded by her sister, Barbara Smith Allen. Cheryl was a homemaker and was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. She loved to travel and cook. Cheryl loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Cheryl is survived by her husband of 46 years, Eddie Ruffin; children and their spouses, Jennifer & Darryl Larrabee and Stephanie & Marshall Smith; grandchildren, Emily, Alec, Nola, Ruby; sister, Marilyn Smith; brothers, Larry Smith and Ronnie Smith; aunt, Sairy Fowler; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service for Mrs. Cheryl Smith Ruffin will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Ramah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Franklin Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends at Williams-Westbury Funeral Home on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
