Christopher Michael "Chris" Hortman, age 52, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at his residence. Chris was born on Saturday, January 18, 1964 to Thomas Larry Hortman and Rebecca Ayers Hortman. He was a member of Rock Springs Church. Chris was employed with BTX Global Logistics. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and restoring Camaros.

Chris is survived by his children, Kelli Hortman, Kyle Hortman, David Hortman, Brad Hortman; granddaughter, Lana Hortman; parents, Larry and Becky Hortman; brother, Steve Hortman; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services for Chris Hortman will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Towaliga Baptist Church with Pastor Jay Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening.
