Christine Riviere Goodenough, 87, widow of Charles Goodenough, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Born in Barnesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Walter Scott Riviere and Effie Sutton Riviere. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary "Sue" Goodenough Clifton. Christine retired from Greenwood (SC) School District 50, where she was the Cafeteria Manager at Pinecrest Elementary School.

Surviving are a daughter, Christy G. Smith of Beaufort; two sons, Richard Goodenough of Beaufort and Lee Goodenough of Spartanburg; ten grandchildren, Tina Leslie Batchler, Michael C. Leslie, Bonnie C. Maratea, Russell Clifton, Andrew Clifton, Richard Riviere Goodenough, Anna Carlton Goodenough, Amanda Elizabeth Goodenough, Jonathon D. Smith and Sara Smith Arnaud; and ten great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted from the graveside on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 3 O'Clock in Greenwood Cemetery, Barnesville, GA, with the Rev. Garth Forster officiating.
