Mrs. Christine "Tina" Tyler Jones, age 91, of Jackson, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Dream Catcher. Tina was born on Monday, August 17, 1925 in Buena Vista, GA to the late Andrew Marshall Tyler and the late Florence Elizabeth Pope Tyler. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Dana Brown Jones; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie Marshall and Rosemary Tyler, Watts Pierson and Doris Tyler; brother-in-law, Wallace A. Hanson.

Tina is survived by her daughter, Sharon Carter; son and daughter-in-law, Dana and Johanna Jones; grandchildren, Shaun and Mindy MacDonell, Heather and Ronnie Forrester; great-grandchildren, Alex, Colin, Jackson, Landon; sister, Florence Hanson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Christine "Tina" Jones will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor Greg Johns officiating. Interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery in Talbotton, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
