Mr. Christopher Roy Bass, age 56, of Milner, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2016 at his residence. A native & lifelong resident of Lamar County, Mr. Bass was the son of the late Mr. Jimmy Franklin Bass and the late Mrs. Betty Ann McLean Bass.

Survivors include: 2 Brothers – Glenn Bass and David Bass ; 1 Step-daughter – Deborah Rogers of Indiana ; 2 Aunts – Melinda Smith and Peggy (& Tom) Bostwick, all of Griffin ; Cousins - Mike Smith and Robert Smith, both of Griffin, Rhonda Merritt of Pike County, "Tommie" of Hampton, Penny Trice, & Steve (& Laura) Trice ; & Special Friends – Danny Moxon, Amber Mims, & Austin Kelley, all of Milner, & Kim Conaway of Upson County.

Funeral Services for Mr. Christopher Bass will be conducted Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 2 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Pike County. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm.
