Mr. Christopher John Owen, age 26, of Barnesville passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 in a Barnesville Healthcare Facility. He born in Clayton County, but made his home in Lamar County for a number of years. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mae & Clyde Owen of Jonesboro.

Survivors Include; His Parents - Johnny & Marianne Owen of Barnesville ; Sisters - Kimberly Brown (& Shannon) of Milner ; Carrie Owen of Athens ; & Johnette Owen of Barnesville ; 2 Nieces - Hailey Wilson & Katelyn Brown ; & His Maternal Grandparents - Lester & Leona Slusser of Barnesville.

Funeral Services for Mr. Christopher John Owen will be conducted from the Graveside on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Lamar Memory Gardens with the Rev. Garth Forster officiating. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, November 10, 2010 from 6pm until 8pm.
