Mr. Clyde Atlas Christopher, Jr., age 76, of Barnesville passed away Monday, January 31, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Christopher was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Mr. Clyde Atlas Christopher and the late Mrs. Metha Laverle Graythen Christopher. Mr. Christopher was a Veteran, having served in the United States Army. He was Retired from Industrial Maintenance, and had also worked for Goggans Florist for a number of years.

Survivors include: 2 Sons – Tommy (& Dian) Christopher of Rome, & Bill (& Judy) Christopher of Milner ; 1 Step-Daughter – Melinda ; 4 Grandchildren – Kyle, Allie, Sarah, and Ryan ; 3 Great Great Grandchildren ; and Several Nephews.

Funeral Services for Mr. Clyde Christopher, Jr. will be conducted Wednesday, February, 2, 2011 at 2 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Franklin Gibson and Rev. Rusty Sharp officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm.
