Mr. Collie James "C.J." McDaniel, age 33, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in a Spalding County Healthcare Facility. A native of Thomaston, he was the son of Mr. Collie Andrew McDaniel and Mrs. Elaine Mullis McDaniel, and was preceded in death by an uncle, Larry Flournoy. C.J. was a Truck Driver, and was employed by Warner Enterprises. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Dalton.
Survivors include: His wife - Kim McDaniel of Thomaston ; 2 Step-children - Elizabeth Sherrell of Brooks, and Nicholas Sherrell of Forsyth ; His parents - Collie and Elaine McDaniel of Chatsworth ; 3 Sisters - Tracy Wiley (& Adam) of Chatsworth, Renea Ramirez (& Francisco) of Dalton, & Mattie McDaniel of Montezuma ; 4 Maternal Uncles - Joel Mullis (& Linda) of Macon, Frank Mullis (& Judy) of Tunnel Hill, Keith Mullis of Macon, & Mike Mullis of Florida ; 1 Paternal Uncle - Danny Flournoy (& Sherry) of Albany ; 2 Paternal Aunts - Mattie Ritchie (& Frankie) of Thomaston & Nancy Payton of Barnesville ; Very Special Friends - Aaron and Misty Patrick of Barnesville ; & Numerous Cousins and other relatives.
Memorial Services for C.J. McDaniel will be conducted Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2 O'Clock in the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Barnesville. Interment will be held in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 1pm until the funeral hour.
