Mrs. Corine Patricia Hammock Turner, age 71, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Wellstar Sylvan Grove Hospital. She was born on Saturday, December 16, 1944 in Brunswick, GA to the late Morris L. Hammock and the late Violet O'Dell Leftwich Hammock. Corine volunteered at the C.E.R.F. House. She enjoyed yard work and painting figurines. Corine was a member of the Jackson Presbyterian Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Turner, and daughter, Charlotte Turner.

Corine is survived by her son, Billy Turner; grandchildren, Michael Turner, Kristi Turner, Kenny Turner, Cody Turner; sister, Louise Stapp; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Corine Turner will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Jackson Presbyterian Church with Reverend Becky Baker officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Stockbridge. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.
