Life Legacy

Mr. Corry Luther Burt, Jr., age 85, of Barnesville, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born February 1, 1930 in Concord, GA to the late Mr. Corry Luther Burt, Sr. and the late Mrs. Lorrie Lee Hawkins Burt. Mr. Burt was self-employed and worked for Burt's Book Keeping Service and was a member of Concord Baptist Church.

Mr. Burt is survived by his wife – Lou Ella Burt; 1 Son – David A. Burt; 1 Daughter – Diane Burt Wellner; 2 Grandchildren – Leigh A. Waldis and Stephanie L. Weglarz Machado; 3 Great Grandchildren – Zacary D. Waldis, Kathyrn L. Waldis, and Olivia G. Waldis; Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Corry Luther Burt, Jr. will be conducted on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2 O' clock in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home Bob McCombs officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hebron cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 6pm until 8pm.
