Mrs. Dana Teresa Marable Cox, age 57, of Milner passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at her residence. Daughter of the late Mr. Freddy Sanford Marable and the late Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Singley Marable, she was born in Griffin, but had lived in Lamar County all of her life. Mrs. Cox was a Pharmacy Technician with Hines Prescription Shop, and was a member of the Lilla Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Her Husband – James "Allen" Cox of Milner ; 4 Sons – Marcus Fossett, Freddy Tanner, Ryan Tanner, & Gabriel Cox ; and 2 Daughters – Tamerone Cox and Casey Cox.

A Memorial Service for Mrs. Dana Cox will be conducted Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 2 O'Clock in the Lilla Memorial Baptist Church with the Reverend Rex Kessler officiating.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Dana Cox Fund at United Bank.
