Mr. Danny Lee Rutledge, 68, of Jackson, GA, died Monday, December 6, 2010 at his residence. He was born on January 22, 1942 in Stone Mountain, GA son of the late Grover and Dorothy Hurndon Rutledge. He loved his family very much and enjoyed NASCAR, eagles, watching TV, and playing cards with his family. Mr. Danny Lee Rutledge is survived by 4 daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and James Raney, of TN, Sandra and Jeff Lawson, of Jackson, Stacey Miller, of Thomaston, Debbie and Victor McLeod, of Valdosta; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond and Marie Alexander, of Griffin, James and Sylvia Swanger, of Knoxville, TN, Danny Brown, of Stockbridge; 1 sister, Peggy Hunter, of Douglasville, 1 brother and sister-in-law, Olin and Nancy Rutledge; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Barnes Rutledge; daughter, Theresa Sprayberry; sister, Virginia Howard; and son-in-law, Wally Miller. Services for Mr. Danny Lee Rutledge will be held at 7:00 PM on December 10, 2010 at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Pastor James Swanger officiating.
