Mr. Danny Ray Walker, of Forsyth, GA, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011. He was born July 27, 1947 in McDonough, GA to the late Clarence and Evelyn Wilkes Walker. He loved people, enjoyed selling produce, gardening and spending time with his family. Danny Ray is survived by his wife, Rita James Walker, of Forsyth; daughter and son-in-law, Dana and David Buice, of Forsyth; son and daughter-in-law, Darius and Dana Walker, of Jackson; 2 sisters, Carol Burnnett, of Madison and Sue Ellen McCarty, of Forsyth; brother, Roger Walker, of Madison; 3 grandchildren, Brittany Dentler, Aleia Maddox and Tyler Walker; great-grandson, Houston West; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral services for Mr. Walker will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, June 17, 2011 in the Chapel of Sherrell Funeral Home with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Interment will be at Pepperton Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:00 - 9:00 PM Thursday evening.
