Mrs. Darlene Jeanette Dunn Higgins, age 78, of Jackson, GA, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at Regency Hospital in Macon, Georgia. She was born on Wednesday, November 22, 1939 in Huntington Park, California to the late Luther T. Dunn and the late Ella Myrtle Chance Dunn. Darlene was a loving wife and loved her children and grandchildren.

Darlene is survived by her husband of 46 years, Bob Higgins; children , Sandra Pry (Keith), John Propernick (Shelley), Cindy Cardenas (Mark), Lori Propernick, and Shellie Higgins; grandchildren, Christopher, Melanie, Steven, Austin, Landon, Mark, Phillip, Sara and Holly; brother, Donald Dunn (Cathy); several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service for Mrs. Darlene Higgins will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 15, 2018 in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Jeremiah Hosford officiating. Interment will follow in the Jackson City Cemetery.
