Mr. Darrell Eugene King, age 71, of Flovilla, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Darrell was born on Tuesday, June 12, 1951, in Jackson, Georgia to the late Walter Lee King and the late Jeanette Doggett. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdad, Cecil Doggett. Darrell was of Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing softball, and canoeing.

Darrell is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marijo King; children, Ronnie King, Kathy Walters, Michelle King DeLoach; grandchildren, Andy King, Colby King, Savannah Cobb, Faith Walters, Lilly Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Easton, Claire; brothers and sisters, Jackie King, Marlo Doggett, Larry Doggett, Mike Doggett, Brenda Nolin,, Tammy Johnson, Renee Wise, Donna, Lynn, and Brad King.

A memorial service for Mr. Darrell King will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Reverend Wayne Fuller and Pastor Dave Nelson officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
