January 14, 1955 – August 9, 2011
Mr. David Glenn Davis, age 56, of Barnesville passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in a Macon Healthcare Facility. A native of Perry, Mr. Davis was the son of the late Mr. James Bruce Davis and the late Mrs. Edna Heard Davis. He was preceded in death by a sister, Winifred Davis, and by two brothers-in-law, Randall Kilchriss and Ronnie Milner. Mr. Davis was self-employed as a Maintenance Technician in Nuclear Energy.
Survivors include: His Wife - Connie Davis of Barnesville ; 2 Daughters - April Knight (& Bruce) of Barnesville, and Jill Resendez (& David) of Barnesville ; 1 Brother - Isaac Davis (& Debbie) of Perry ; 1 Sister - Glenda Daniel (& Gary) of Jackson ; 3 Grandchildren - Sidney Knight, David Resendiz, & Aidan Resendiz ; 1 Nephew - Chuck Davis ; 3 Nieces - Heather Birchfield, Katie Daniel, & MacKenzie Daniel ; Mother-in-law - Doris Buice Kilchriss ; 3 Brothers-in-law - Tony Kilchriss (& Lesley), Gary Kilchriss (& Willie), & Gregory Kilchriss ; 3 Sisters-in-law - Lynne Kilchriss, Wanda O'Neal (& Bernie), & Susan Milner (& Andy Helms) ; Several Nieces & Nephews also survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. David "Glenn" Davis will be conducted Thursday, August 11, 2011 at 11 O'Clock in the Barnesville Church of the Nazarene with the Reverend Lonnie Grant officiating. Interment will follow in Lamar Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Williams Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, August 10, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm.
