Mr. David Laurence Dee, age 60, of Barnesville passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Douglasville Hospital after a complicated illness. Mr. Dee was born on November 6, 1951 in Schenectady, NY. He was raised in Syracuse, NY where he enjoyed the outdoors. He was a long term member of the International Union of Operating Engineers local 926. David was highly respected in his industry and held some of the highest certifications for crane operators in Georgia. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working on small machinery. Mr. David Dee was preceded in death by his father and mother: Paul and Joan Dee.

Survivors include his Son Christopher Dee of Barnesville, GA ; a Daughter - Melissa Santos of FL ; & 9 Brothers & Sisters – Kate, Mike, Kim, Patti, Stephen, Mary, Chris, Mark, & Michelle.

Services for Mr. David Dee will be held at a later date and will be announced by Williams Funeral Home of Barnesville.
