Mr. David Scott Hay, age 67, of Barnesville, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at Brightmoor Hospice.

David was born on Wednesday, March 16, 1956, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Hugh Scott Hay and the late Elizabeth Estelle Gulledge Hay. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by aunts and uncles. David was a great baseball player and in his spare time loved fishing and hunting. He enjoyed drinking his cup of coffee and Pepsi. David also loved and cherished spending time with children.

David is survived by his sister, Janice Califf (Steve); cousin, Cheryl Zellner, along with several other cousins; uncle, Jack Hay.

The Hay family would like to give special thanks to David's caretaker, Tracy Molina. They also would like to thank all the staff at Brightmoor Hospice and all family/friends that helped with Mr. Hay in his time of need.

Funeral Services for Mr. David Scott Hay will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at 3:00 P.M. in Breedlove Memorial Chapel with Pastor David Dawson officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Lamar Memory Gardens.
