Mr. David Hugh Sutton, age 90, of Barnesville passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2011 in an Upson County Healthcare Facility. Mr. Sutton was born July 14, 1921 in Monroe County to the late Joseph Sutton and the late Emma Woodruff Sutton. He served his country in the United States Army and was Retired from Aldora Mills, where he worked as a maintenance technician. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Audrey Smith Sutton; sisters, Mrs. Anna Louise Sutton and Mrs. Virginia Bunn; brothers, Mr. Charlie Joe Sutton and John Henry Sutton; and a son-in-law Mr. Joe Sweat.

Survivors include daughters Mrs. Brenda Sweat of Barnesville and Mrs. Joan (& LeRoy) Allen of Griffin; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Sutton Johnson, of Montgomery, AL; a special nephew, Mark Smith of Barnesville; 8 Grandchildren and 32 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mr. David Hugh Sutton will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 2 O'Clock in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, September 19, 2011 from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm.
