Mrs. Deborah Jones Romport, age 73, of Stockbridge, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2023.

Deborah was born on Saturday, January 21, 1950, in Jackson, Georgia to the late Cecil Jones and the late Eva Thompson Jones. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Denae Johnson Walker; sisters, Joyce Jones, Jean McCune, Linda Peacock; brothers, Kenneth Jones, Perry Jones. Deborah enjoyed flowers and making beautiful arrangements, dancing, and shopping. She loved being around her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Deborah is survived by her husband of 15 years, David Romport; son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Mia Fuller; grandchildren, Whitney Walker, Garrett Washington, Bryce Porterfield, Brooke Porterfield, Ruslana Fuller, Ewan Fuller, Loxley Fuller, Killian Fuller; 4 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Diane Mershon; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A memorial service for Mrs. Deborah Romport will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Mr. Rudy Mangham officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour before the service at the funeral home.
