Mr. Dennis Edward Bledsoe, age 58, of Jackson, Georgia, passed away Friday, September 18, 2026.

Dennis was born on Thursday, September 5, 1968 in Washington, Indiana to the late Billy Gene Bledsoe and Norma Catherine Lannan. Along with his father, Dennis is preceded in death by his siblings; Steve Bledsoe and Dana Bledsoe.

Dennis was an avid hunter. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and "adventures" as he called them. His greatest blessings in life were his family, especially his wife and children. He was a devoted and loving husband. Dennis worked in HVAC, where he owned and operated Bledsoe Services and Alcovy Mechanical for 24 years. He then worked for the Clayton County School System as a Coordinating Supervisor for maintenance when he eventually retired in June. Dennis volunteered with AWANAs for many years and coached his boys football, baseball, and soccer teams. He was a 4-H "voluntentold" (as he called himself) as he supported Lori in her career.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 20 years; Lori Bledsoe, mother; Norma Hughes, children; Jacob Bledsoe (Montana), Luke Bledsoe, Eli Bledsoe, grandchildren; River Bledsoe, Jordan Gunner Bledsoe, sister; Lisa Losurdo along with several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Funeral Services for Mr. Dennis Bledsoe will be held Graveside at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery 1933 Mt. Carmel Road Hampton, Georgia 30233 with Pastor Jason Reagan officiating. Dress casually for the Georgia heat. Friends may visit the family from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Sherrell-Westbury Funeral Home
